Sam and Max: Season 2: Episode 1: Ice Station Santa review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sam and Max: Season 2: Episode 1: Ice Station Santa from Telltale Games, a downloadable game on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. Although it was released to PSN this month, Ice Station Santa was originally released years ago. Season 2 is called Beyond Time and Space, a fitting name for a game with a timeline this ridiculous. This first episode is Ice Station Santa, and it picks up with Sam and Max in a sticky situation. Their office is under attack from a massive robotic menace, and after a bit of detective work, they find the culprit is Santa Claus. Sam and Max will have to track down action figures of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, stump a killer robot with pop songs and even chat up some archaic technology in order to crack the case. This video review features video gameplay footage of Sam and Max: Season 2: Episode 1: Ice Station Santa for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.

  1. So I was able to get Season 1 on the Wii as a disk game…is Season 2 and 3 ported to the Wii as well on disk? Or is this great series doomed as pure DLC?

  2. I agree with you to some extent. But really the old point and click classics haven't aged as well as you'd hope. The direction in old lucas arts games and such is actually quite terrible. and the pacing ranges from bad to god awful. I'm not saying those games were bad but compared to newer P&C games they don't have the same appeal.

  3. This is probably the smoothest running version (along with the XBLA version) and better looking than the PC and Wii versions.

  4. @hawawa675 Yeah. I like Seth and Family Guy. But i do have to admit. That rickthegunslinger. And Frog0021X, are wright. You see. He alway's. Do this sort of thing. Stealing people's jokes. Making fun of every single thing in Family Guy, that has nothing to do with the story in the episode's. And ripping off. The Simpsons.

  5. @hawawa675 you do realize your threats in violence seem like a pathetic attempt to defend Seth Mcfarland right?

Derek's got his own opinions. Please rightfully respect them or at the very least dont say something as dumbfounded as that.

  6. @hawawa675 he is telling the truth. all of seth's works like family guy and american dad are more or less a bunch of jokes about actors, movies, and tv shows with a sitcom plot as an excuse to tell those jokes.
