  1. Sigma plus 2 for the Vita seems to address all your problems with the game, is a review for that game coming out?

  2. It's easier in general. It's still a great game with some of the best combat around. It has its moments, but vanilla NG2 is harder.

  3. How is the difficulty compared to the original NG2? Also if it is easier which mode is equivalent to the normal mode of NG2?

  4. Yes, I agree with that. Most games aren't challenging today. It works with some games like Red Dead Redemption, because Red Dead Redemption was so much fun that it didn't need a challenge. But most games are seriously lacking challenge and come off as boring and repetitive.

  5. I see what you're saying, and yes, God of War 1 was a masterfully balanced game.

I'm just saying that when I decide to play a Ninja Gaiden game I expect a tough challenge because part of the fun is watching yourself getting better as you play. Let's be fair, there are more easier games than there are challenging games on today's market.

  6. Oh I'm sure it was, K. I played a little with friends, and while it was a great looking game, it just felt like another generic 3rd person action hack and slash.

The Original series was one of the first of its kind, and built not only one of the best side scrollers ever, but a story that was fun, ridiculous and epic.

Plus the music is one of the best soundtracks on the entire system, and leaps and bounds better than the rehashes.

  7. Every time he said the original version of Ninja Gaiden 2 I thought he meant the NES one. I guess I have been under a rock or something.
